Weighted zipped blanket (for couples)

The SIMPLY weighted blanket is made of thick cotton. There is no insulating layer inside. The fabric used is Oeko-Tex® certified. The principle of sewing a weighted blanket is to quilt it into squares. In a SIMPLY quilt, these are usually 10 x 10 cm squares. A certain amount of weight is sewn into the center of each square. The quilt is hand-sewn and always prepared to individual order. We recommend covering the duvet with a duvet cover. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with our offer textiles and bedding.

Weighted blankets are intended primarily for adults, mainly for sleeping, most often for couples. Its appearance resembles a blanket and we most often recommend it for use on warm nights or as a layer on top of another duvet to obtain appropriate softness and warmth. 

Thanks to the innovative use of a zipper, the duvet can be divided into two parts.
This solution also allows you to wash a heavy duvet in the washing machine and dry it much faster and easier.

Available fillings:

• glass granules - they look like sand, so the quilt filled with it is soft and delicate. Universal filling for anyone who needs extra weight.
• natural gravel - small, round stones (2 - 4 mm), very slightly perceptible through the fabric. A duvet filled with natural gravel can also be used for rolling, wrapping, massaging or pressing the body.

The weight is prepared according to the given body weight or a specific weight of the duvet. It is very important to us as the manufacturer. , receiving information about possible recommendations of the therapist in order to prepare the appropriate product.

The standard load is 10-15% of body weight.

Thanks to this addition, you can attach a duvet with a duvet cover or cover. This solution is useful in the case of a heavy duvet, as in such a situation the duvet may shift during use. The condition is to sew the fastening ribbons into your own bedding. When purchasing our duvet covers or covers, you can immediately order attaching straps.

When ordering a weighted blanket, please add loops and strings in the duvet cover. We recommend matching the number of loops and strings to the size of the product and this is described in detail in the ordering process.

Maintenance:

A duvet with any of the fillings mentioned above can be washed in water. Light duvets can also be washed in a washing machine (recommended precautions when spinning). There are maintenance symbols on the product label. As standard, we recommend hand washing, as we are not responsible for the technical condition of the washing machine and the permissible load capacity. Spread drying. We recommend frequent shaking to speed up the drying process.
