Freya Products, the company that owns HanaComfort, has the FAMHP quality label. What does this mean?

We are ISO9001 certified, recognizing that our products and processes meet the requirements of our customers and comply with all administrative regulations that apply to our company.

For the marketing and sale of medical products, we have import and distribution licenses, as well as a technical medical expert who is permanently present. All our products have a CE certificate, which are essential for the sale of medical devices in Europe. In addition to CE marking, our manufacturers have many other certificates as required due to the different product types.

We are part of the “Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products (FAMHP)”. With this certification we ensure the quality, safety and effectiveness of the health products. In this way we gain the trust of our customers.

Role

The FAMHP is the Belgian competent authority in charge of ensuring the quality, safety and efficacy of medicines and health products (medical devices and accessories, raw materials, blood and blood components of human origin, human tissue material), for human and veterinary use, in clinical development and on the market.
