How we produce our blankets
Weighted blankets are exactly what they sound like — they're filled, heavy blankets that create Deep Pressure Stimulation, which gives that joyful feeling of being hugged or swaddled.
What's a weighted blanket?
Weighted blankets are exactly what they sound like — they're filled, heavy blankets that create Deep Pressure Stimulation, which gives that joyful feeling of being hugged or swaddled. Our Weighted blankets have been scientifically proven to enhance serotonin and melatonin levels, which are natural chemicals in the brain that help reduce anxiety, increase relaxation, and improve sleep quality.
Weighted Blanket - Fabric & Layers
Weighted Blanket- Glass beads
THE BETTER FILLER
We fill our blankets with non-toxic 0.8-1.0 mmglass beads, as it takes a lot less to equal thesame weight as the commonly-usedplasticpolypellet fillers. Unlike the bumpy texture of poly pellets, ourmicro glass beads inside the blanket feel
smoother — much like sand —providingyouwith superior comfort every time. Andwithtop-quality grid-like stitching, you’ll never havetoworry about them leaking.
Weighted Blanket- Size & Weight
Wrapping yourself up with a weightedblanket feels like a firm, but gentle bear hug. The evenly distributed weight against the body provides Deep Pressure Stimulation, which boosts the production of serotonin and melatonin in the brain.
Eight hours of sleep per night? No problem! Our weighted blanket helps develop peace of mind and increases relaxation. You’ll fall asleep faster, longer, and wake up feeling refreshed.
New fabric- Polylactic Acid (PLA)
The first eco-friendly weighted blanket made from Polylactic Acid (PLA) — designed to reduce carbon footprints while providing soothing comfort.
THE WORLD'S FIRST PLA WEIGHTED BLANKET
WHY CHOOSE PLA FABRIC?
1. PLA uses 68% less fossil fuel energy than plastic.
2. PLA fibers use 20 to 50% less fossil fuel resources than petroleum-based polymers such as polyester, nylon, and acrylic.
3. Producing 500,000 tonnes of PLA requires less than 0.5% of the annual US corn crop.
4. Tomake 1kg of PLA requires just 1.6kg of sugar.
LOW CARBON FOOTPRINT
We use Polylactic Acid fibers extracted from renewable resources such as sugar beets and corn. This helps reduce carbon emissions and landfill use.
GOOD FOR YOU, GOOD FOR THE PLANET
Our blankets offer a silky-smooth texture on an anti-bacterial surface. They provide superior ventilation, flexibility, moisture-absorption, and shape retention.
